The position you are considering is part of Wolt Market - our unique grocery delivery service that offers unparalleled convenience and top-notch customer satisfaction. Residents across Germany can conveniently order their groceries and receive them at remarkable speed.
Wolt Market is experiencing rapid growth, and we have ambitious objectives ahead. We are seeking a Property Development Manager to scout and assess potential sites for our Wolt Market locations and negotiate lease agreements with property owners. You will play a crucial role in determining city launches alongside the Expansion Manager in the region.
In this position, you will receive substantial support, but you are also expected to be an outstanding independent contributor with a remarkable ability to execute tasks effectively every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing data to evaluate optimal sites for Wolt Markets in Germany.
- Traveling to various Wolt cities to identify and assess potential Wolt Market sites.
- Negotiating advantageous lease and renovation agreements with property owners and agents.
- Contributing significantly to decision-making processes regarding regional and city launches in collaboration with Expansion Managers.
- Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders (delivery teams, expansion teams, global Wolt market teams, and legal & finance departments) on property-related matters.
- Experience in property management, ideally within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in negotiating letters of intent and lease agreements.
- You are a driven individual who excels in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn and enhance/establish new processes.
- You possess a proactive and hands-on work ethic.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English, with full professional proficiency in German.
