Technology Audit Analyst

As a key member of the third line of defense, you will engage in the independent evaluation of the organization's overall control framework. This involves effectively communicating findings to both local and global management regarding the efficacy of controls that address existing and potential risks, while also overseeing the management's execution of control strategies.
Your role is essential in providing independent, objective, and timely assurance concerning the internal control architecture of the organization. You will support the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Risk Committee in their oversight duties.
Key Responsibilities:For each assigned audit initiative, your tasks will include:
- Reporting to a seasoned Project Manager.
- Assisting in the scoping and planning phases of audits.
- Participating in audit execution with a focus on reviewing Technology processes, analyzing associated risks, and evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of implemented controls.
- Documenting assessments and testing procedures within the IA automated documentation repository in accordance with departmental standards.
- Monitoring and following up with management on the resolution of outstanding audit issues.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in technology auditing, encompassing IT application and general controls, application development, software quality assurance, information security, or relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with software development principles, system architecture, databases, and operating systems; proficiency in data analysis utilizing Excel or SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks while effectively handling time and workload.
- Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, eager to learn new business and system processes swiftly.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
