Internal Audit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Internal Audit Specialist. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of audit projects, focusing on the review of technology processes and the analysis of risks involved.
- Conduct assessments of the design and operating effectiveness of controls implemented to mitigate risks.
- Document findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, and monitor follow-up with management on the resolution of open audit findings.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the successful completion of audit projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in technology auditing, IT application and general controls, application development, SQA, information security, technology consulting, or other relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, system architecture, databases, operating systems, and messaging.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time and workload effectively.
- Highly motivated with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn new business and system processes quickly.
