As part of our expansion in flight operations, we are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Tactical Controller to join our team. This position will be based in our Hamburg Office on a permanent contract.
In your role as a Tactical Controller, you will have the opportunity to engage in various aspects of flight operations. This position serves as a starting point with the potential for advancement into other roles within the Operations Control Center (OCC), including flight following, fleet scheduling, operational feasibility, or as a Duty Manager, ensuring the seamless operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of OCC, the Tactical Controller is responsible for overseeing the tactical phase of flight operations, which commences on the day of the flight and concludes after all post-flight activities are finalized. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining and updating the daily tactical log
- Managing movement control
- Tracking and monitoring flights
- Addressing irregular operations by communicating delays, diversions, last-minute changes, and other issues that may impact the schedule
- Ensuring crew briefing acknowledgments and coordinating crew activations or wake-up calls as necessary
- Monitoring Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) restrictions
- Managing flight re-routing
- Overseeing ground arrangements and permits that are pending for the day of flight, including close-out messages and ETA updates
- Handling ATS Flight Plan management
- Conducting weather monitoring
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Business Aviation sector, particularly in Flight Dispatch or Flight Planning
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working under pressure
- Proficient English language skills to ensure clear communication with stakeholders
