Accountant Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of incoming payments
  • Maintain up-to-date debtor master data in the ERP system/Oracle
  • Review and process direct debits/SEPA mandates
  • Manage and follow up on bank return debits
  • Control and handle open items
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the day-to-day operations of accounts receivable accounting
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
  • Collaborate in the development and optimization of existing processes

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or further training as a financial accountant
  • First professional experience in accounts receivable accounting
  • Knowledge of Oracle is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to analyze processes and contribute to change
  • Proficient in MS-Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of HGB and turnover tax law
  • Accurate and structured work approach
  • High self-motivation and resilience
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good German language skills, English is an advantage
