- In partnership with IT leadership, manage supplier relationships and performance through regular assessments, KPI tracking, and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to refine Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational challenges.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices in IT procurement to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is advantageous.
- Approximately seven years of demonstrated experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, ideally within a multinational context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT products and services, encompassing hardware, software, cloud solutions, and telecommunications.
- Familiarity with contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing intricate procurement projects and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data, conduct financial assessments, and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional project management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
