Position Overview: Strategic Vendor Manager
The Strategic Vendor Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing relationships with service partner organizations, particularly in the realm of Managed and Third-Party Services. This role emphasizes effective communication and collaboration to ensure operational excellence.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic management of service partner firms, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to foster better cooperation with service providers.
- Assess the performance of external partners against established company benchmarks.
- Develop and monitor essential quantitative and qualitative performance indicators.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new service partner companies.
- Lead the selection process for appropriate suppliers and partners, aiding in contract negotiations.
- Manage budget planning and tracking, providing insightful reports and recommendations.
- Facilitate effective solutions within the Vendor Relationship Management framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in service management.
- In-depth experience within the telecommunications sector, with a strong understanding of industry processes.
- Expertise in contract management and the development of pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and techniques.
- Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication proficiency.
- Fluent in German (C1 level) and proficient in English (B2 level).
