Spare Parts Management Group Lead

Job Summary

The Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Lead PM/EPC Spare Parts Management to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Spare Parts Material Management Team and driving the optimization and redesign of processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Spare Parts Material Management Team and drive the optimization and redesign of processes
  • Manage strategically relevant and cross-departmental projects
  • Provide technical support and knowledge management for employees
  • Ensure the worldwide construction sites are supplied with necessary replacement materials
  • Interface with the PM/EPC function and regions
  • Create and track project-relevant material orders in SAP
  • Monitor and track on-time deliveries and manage potential bottlenecks and delays
  • Support local material identification of spare parts
  • Analyze and optimize material stocks considering exchange groups, variants, and historical consumption
  • Collaborate with adjacent departments on operational and process-relevant issues
  • Create project-specific material management plans
  • Participate in material-relevant coordination meetings

Requirements

  • Completed studies in industrial engineering, logistics, mechanical engineering, business administration, or commercial/technical training with further qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in procurement or material management
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP MM and MS Office required
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style, paired with a binding and appreciative behavior
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as intercultural competence
