Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for Complex Mechanical Parts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Da Vinci Engineering GmbH. As a key member of our Product Development Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our complex mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for complex mechanical components, including high precision plastic molding and diecast parts.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Contract Purchasing, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks in the design and production process.
  • Plan and manage supplier development activities, including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) procedures, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality components.
  • Review and verify parts design and production processes to identify potential risks and countermeasures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, Mechanical Parts Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing in the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in processing technologies such as high precision plastic molding and diecast.
  • APQP knowledge and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical content and development risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English language skills.
