Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Strategic Alliance Manager.

Position Summary: The role involves planning, managing, enhancing, and overseeing sales initiatives for national key accounts and intricate customer relationships through collaborative selling strategies to optimize Festo's market share within these accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of key accounts to assess current and future revenue potential for Festo via indirect channels, considering production sites and long-term investment strategies.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and formulate account management strategies, coordinating the execution of these plans through collaborative selling.
  • Develop long-term strategies for key accounts, focusing on technology standardization, customer relationships, and tailored product development.
  • Ensure the attainment of established sales objectives for designated key accounts.
  • Monitor revenue trends and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Negotiate local contracts and prepare for the execution of international agreements.
  • Oversee and support international projects associated with key accounts.
  • Facilitate maximum collaboration among account teams and across all departments within Festo, both nationally and internationally.
  • Define and maintain essential tools such as Mosaic, Share Points, and project databases.
  • Drive customer-specific marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze the complete buying center and manage multi-level customer relationships.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Technical degree in Electric Automation, Process Engineering, or Mechatronics is preferred.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Technical Business or Business Administration are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, SharePoint, SAP, and BO.
  • 3-5 years of external experience in sales.
  • At least 2 years of experience within Festo.
  • Basic understanding of the industry segment relevant to the assigned key account.
  • Experience in direct sales and/or project management within sales organizations.
