Legal Counsel (m/f/d) Global Legal & Compliance

YOUR ROLE

As a key member of our global legal team, you will tackle exciting challenges and contribute to our corporate objectives. Your role as a Legal Counsel will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of contracts throughout the pharmaceutical value chain, including confidentiality agreements, IT contracts, service agreements, and distribution contracts.
  • Offer business-oriented and dependable legal guidance to internal stakeholders on various matters, including clinical trials, marketing initiatives, and the dissemination of promotional and medical materials.
  • Assess and analyze legal risks, developing and implementing sound legal and economic strategies to mitigate them.
  • Identify educational needs among business stakeholders and create and deliver training sessions on pertinent legal topics.
  • Collaborate with the tax department on intercompany agreements and restructuring initiatives.
  • Manage and coordinate external legal counsel as necessary for advice across different jurisdictions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent educational background, preferably with additional qualifications such as an LL.M.
  • Several years of experience in an international law firm or corporate environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law, with a preference for expertise in pharmaceutical and medical regulations.
  • Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adept at presenting complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Independent, proactive, and customer-focused work ethic.
  • Team-oriented with intercultural competence, strong communication, and exceptional organizational skills.
