UI/UX Design Internship for E/E Innovation Projects

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated working student to contribute to our UI/UX design efforts within the realm of Electric/Electronic innovation projects. This role will focus on enhancing user experience through innovative design solutions.

Department:
Technologies and Architectures within the Electrics/Electronics Integration Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and execute creative workshops aimed at engaging future users.
  • Conduct usability tests to assess and refine design implementations.
  • Develop user journeys to extract requirements for processes, hardware, and software.
  • Create and visualize modern interfaces for digital applications and dashboards, including wireframes and interactive prototypes using contemporary design tools.
  • Design front-end applications utilizing Adobe XD, Illustrator, or web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of design outcomes and prototypes.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for end-users of the newly designed applications.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in media informatics, web design, media technology, human factors, UX/UI design, or a related field.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with UX design software such as Sketch and Adobe XD, along with image and video editing tools (Photoshop). Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, or React is a plus.
  • Exhibit a high level of reliability, proactivity, independence, and attention to detail, complemented by strong communication skills and creativity.
  • Basic understanding of the UI/UX design process.
