About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the technical execution of water power control technology projects based on Siemens and Rockwell control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement system concepts based on project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Lead and manage technical and commercial clarifications with customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including hardware and software engineering.
  • Design and implement SPS programs and visualization solutions.
  • Plan and implement communication and network systems, considering cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including signal lists, task lists, and final documentation.
  • Commission and start up control technology systems worldwide.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Information Technology, with several years of experience in control technology systems.
  • Extensive experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or Rockwell Studio 0 is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.
  • Excellent German and very good English language skills are required, with additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or French being an asset.
  • Strong analytical and teamwork skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work on-site at project locations worldwide.
