As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be part of our global hydropower plant projects, responsible for the implementation of electrotechnical systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize converter solutions in cooperation with the generator engineering department.
- Handle start-up and direct converters, as well as DFIM excitation systems for power plant projects, including the engineering of auxiliary systems.
- Check and clarify interfaces, integrating the detailed and component engineering of system suppliers and planning offices into the overall planning of the power plant.
- Monitor cost budgets and deadlines, supporting Purchasing in specifying systems and Sales in preparing quotations and negotiations with customers.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests at suppliers, customer meetings, and on-site meetings worldwide.
Your Profile
- You have a degree in electrical or power engineering.
- You possess specialist knowledge of higher power and voltage inverter technology.
- Experience in handling complex technical systems and installations is desirable.
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English, with further foreign language skills advantageous.
- You are open to intercultural cooperation in an internationally oriented company.
