Senior Director Product Management Child Safety

About the Role
CYBEX GMBH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director Product Management Child Safety to lead our product management team in the child safety segment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the commercial success of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for the child safety segment, aligned with company objectives and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and develop new products, features, and services that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, R&D, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of product plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external certification and testing organizations to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Train and guide marketing, sales, and global training teams on product category direction and strategies.
- Present product concepts and stories to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners.
- Identify and recommend new product opportunities and marketing strategies to support sales activation.
- Steer and coordinate marketing campaigns to effectively reach and engage target consumer groups.
- Oversee and steer all activities of the product management department, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Manage, develop, and grow a dedicated team of product managers responsible for the child safety segment.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in a technical discipline, such as business engineering or technical business administration.
- Proven track record of introducing and further developing innovative products in the technical durable goods segment (B2C).
- Substantial product management background coupled with strong leadership and management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Experience in continuous improvement of internal structures and processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English.
- Entrepreneurial personality, hands-on, and pragmatic approach.
