We are actively developing large capital projects for heat, CO2, and hydrogen. For the hydrogen economy, we are connecting supply and demand with infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As a Project Director Business Development, you will be responsible for developing one of our large capital projects, specifically the hydrogen storage project in Etzel, Germany. You will work in a team responsible for developing hydrogen storage projects in the Netherlands and Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structure, develop, and bring complex, cross-border large capital projects to fruition.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary project team to identify and mitigate technical, economic, commercial, operational, and political challenges.
  • Develop business cases and project plans, and report to steering committees and management teams.
  • Identify opportunities and risks within projects and contribute to a culture of collaboration and integration within the hydrogen project value chain.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as the final responsible person for developing large capital projects.
  • Demonstrable and recent experience with project management in a business development environment.
  • Experience with project development in Germany is a plus.
  • Native German speaker and proficient in English, with good Dutch language skills a plus.
