Baxter is embarking on a transformative journey to separate its ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company, Vantive. This new entity will build on the company's nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis, providing best-in-class care to those in need. Vantive aims to become a leader in the kidney care space, offering meaningful work to its employees.
Your Role at Baxter
As a Pricing Specialist, you will serve as a Business Partner for the Kidney Care Germany unit, responsible for ensuring current prices and conditions are accurately reflected in internal systems. This role is based in Unterschleißheim near Munich, with a hybrid work option.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Kidney Care in calculating and managing contractual components, such as bonus payments and conditions.
- Collaborate in cross-functional local pricing projects.
- Process customer cases, price inquiries, and invoice complaints in cooperation with Sales and Customer Service.
- Provide sales support in offer and contract management.
- Obtain approvals for bonus payments and post them in the system.
- Maintain prices, contracts, and bonus conditions in designated systems.
- Identify deviations from target status and ensure consistent data quality in systems.
- Archive contracts, offers, tender documents, and bonus evaluations, as well as approvals.
- Ensure workflows are carried out within SOX regulations, SOP guidelines, and approval processes.
Requirements
- Completed studies with a commercial/business management focus or commercial training.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in pricing, preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or medical technology sector.
- Excellent analytical skills for preparing large amounts of data.
- Interdisciplinary, service-oriented thinking and acting.
- Very good communication skills, including cross-functional and hierarchical levels.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and good handling of ambiguity.
- Very good command of English and German, written and spoken.
