Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with both technical and business acumen to join our team as a Principal Engineer, Product Marketing. This role will be responsible for driving the Automotive Battery Management Roadmap, including HW, FW/SW, and ecosystem partners around Renesas Automotive Products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the Automotive Battery Management Systems market, gaining and maintaining knowledge of the business environment and competitive situation.
  • Engage, build, and maintain key relationships with key customers, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Collect and prioritize Product Requirements, Feature Requests, and Market Requirements, collaborating with system architects and applications to ensure differentiated solutions and key product milestones are met optimally and efficiently.
  • Be responsible for business cases, demand and volume forecast, both for short and midterm planning, and contribute to 5-year strategic plan including market modelling.
  • Organize RFI and RFQ responses, driving cross-functional teams to respond on time, with high quality, and compelling offerings in collaboration with Sales team.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in automotive electronic engineering, computer science, power electronic, automation engineering, or related field.
  • Min. 8 years of work experience in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics, and BMS.
  • Experience with automotive semiconductor development processes and qualifications.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, Strong Leadership, Analytical thinking, Complex problem-solving, and Result-oriented.
  • Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical, within a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive MCU technologies, architectures, and applications, with a proven track record of successful marketing experience in this domain.
