Job Title: Field Application Engineer

Ambarella, a leading provider of AI vision, HD, and 8K video solutions, is seeking a skilled Field Application Engineer to join its European team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to work closely with our strategic customers in the European market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving design wins, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with marketing and factory experts to develop technical responses to customer RFI/RFQs.
  • Prepare and deliver demos, training sessions, and technical presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Install and train customers on development systems, DKs, SDKs, and tools.
  • Work closely with the Taiwan Systems team to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer technical challenges and contribute to the development of next-generation features for Ambarella's SoCs and cameras.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving embedded SoC semiconductor solutions.
  • Proven track record of success in working with Automotive customers and delivering product launches.
  • Strong knowledge of end equipment in automotive ADAS, including video and image processing, radar, and other environmental sensing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer organizations.
