About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Management Specialist to join our team at MB Automation GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing bid strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Feasibility Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of internal tenders and customer inquiries, working closely with specialist departments to assess feasibility and identify opportunities.
  • Bid Strategy Development: Collaborate with business developers to develop comprehensive bid strategies that meet customer needs and drive business success.
  • Solution Architecture Coordination: Work with specialist departments and product architects to coordinate solution architecture and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Concept Development and Pricing: Develop and present overall solutions in technical, economic, legal, and administrative terms, including project costing and target pricing.
  • Bidding Process Management: Plan, control, and monitor the bidding process to ensure timely and effective delivery of proposals.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including project development and cost/risk calculation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A successfully completed degree in industrial engineering or comparable technical and business-oriented training, with a strong background in business development and proposal management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Analytical problem-solving skills, conceptual and structured thinking, business fluency in written and spoken English, and proficiency in Office tools.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Specialist knowledge in the ID sector, additional foreign languages (French, Spanish, Arabic), and experience in project costing and target pricing.
