About the Role

As a Senior Key Account Manager, Logistics Operations at Amazon TA, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our third-party logistics partners. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless last-mile delivery operations, working closely with our partners to identify and implement process improvements, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Collaborate with our Safety and Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Performance Optimization: Guide our logistics partners to scale their businesses, manage operational issues, and prepare for peak periods, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Partnership Development: Foster strong relationships between Amazon TA and our logistics partners, driving sentiment improvements and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify workflow inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve operational processes at the network level and enhance the individual logistics partner experience.
  • Communication and Alignment: Ensure effective communication and alignment with our logistics partners, OTR partners, and Amazon TA teams to drive business success.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to our logistics partners, helping them to upskill and utilize tools effectively.
  • Customer Metric Improvement: Analyze customer metrics and identify opportunities for improvement, working closely with our logistics partners to implement solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Champion the consistent application of last-mile processes within our delivery stations, challenging under-the-roof processes that impact on-the-road operations.
  • Brand Image Protection: Improve driver standards to protect our brand image and reputation.
About the Team

Amazon TA's Logistics Operations team is responsible for handling last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party logistics businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts.

Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in operations, last-mile delivery, account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication, data analytics, and problem-solving.
  • Language: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German.
