About the role
This full-time position involves overseeing all operational functions at our site. You will assume multiple responsibilities, including maintenance, facilities management, health and safety, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and cleaning operations of the Mindspace facility.
- Implement processes and standards to ensure adherence to local regulations and compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives for equipment and facilities.
- Negotiate agreements with major service providers and contractors, ensuring quality deliverables are met on schedule.
- Develop strategies for effective planning and scheduling of critical maintenance tasks to minimize disruption to operations.
- Continuously assess facility processes for inefficiencies and propose improvement strategies.
- Supervise construction projects and new site openings.
- Conduct regular quality assessments to ensure operational policies are current and followed.
- Provide feedback to development teams regarding operational challenges.
- Act as the primary contact for facility maintenance emergencies.
- Coordinate with landlords to ensure compliance with all regulations and contractual obligations.
- Establish maintenance protocols to facilitate smooth operations.
- Manage building security, access control, and surveillance systems.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, including sales and community engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management.
- Proven background in facilities management.
- Experience in the hospitality sector is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with security systems, IT infrastructure, and audiovisual equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional project management skills.
- Proactive, independent, and a collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
