Critical Facilities Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team at Equinix. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our data center facilities, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors
- Ensure that the team is carrying out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing as expected
- Manage personnel details, including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching, and development
- Assist with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance
- Plan, coordinate, budget, and implement resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers
- Develop and manage routine operational plans, meeting targets typically against a monthly plan
- Provide input and guidance towards budget
- Oversee contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards
- Assist with start-up tests, documenting and reporting all problems
- Communicate and coordinate activities and on-site staff during an incident
Requirements
- Minimum of proven years of related experience or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
