Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Dubai Chambers as an Assistant to the Chief Representative. The successful candidate will provide support to the Chief Representative in implementing international relations objectives, ensuring effective, efficient, and sustainable operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Operations:
- Ensure all administrative operations of the office are conducted to the highest standard, including reporting procedures and processes delegated by HQ.
- Manage all types of communication and support with marketing and social media outreach.
- Assist in the implementation of project-based activities via the International Offices.
- Support the organization of business facilitation platforms, such as seminars, conferences, group discussions, roundtable, forums, and others.
- Provide assistance to the Chief Representative as needed.
- Information Security:
- Adhere to information security policies, processes, and programs, and report any security breaches or incidents to direct management.
- Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures:
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes, and practices, considering international leading practices.
- Provide critical input to support the development of Department's systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements.
- Ensure team members comply with all Department's policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Quality, Health, Security, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental procedures and controls across the Department.
- Reporting:
- Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately, meeting Dubai requirements, policies, and quality standards.
- Others:
- Perform other relevant tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in international business, business administration, or other relevant fields.
- Experience and Skills:
- 1-2 years of progressive experience in corporate affairs, external relations in various huge organizations or businesses.
- Business awareness and basic knowledge of local country's business community.
- Fluent in English and country languages (read, spoken, written).
- Excellent knowledge in MS applications.
- Excellent team skills.
