As a Lead Application Engineer specializing in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for video input and Image Signal Processing (ISP), you will play a crucial role in developing innovative software solutions for automotive applications.
Your responsibilities will include creating proof-of-concept software for video input processing on the Renesas R-CAR Vx System on Chip (SoC), utilizing external camera modules, deserializers, MIPI-CSI2 interfaces, and ISP technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for next-generation ADAS products, which encompass tools, software, and hardware. Additionally, you will leverage existing code libraries to enhance computer vision applications and expand their applicability in various ADAS contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and optimize the video input pipeline on R-CAR Vx hardware platforms and simulators. Collaborate with multiple teams to pre-develop video software features, troubleshoot, and resolve related issues. Prototype video input processing features for future product designs. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct performance evaluations. Engage with system architecture and development teams to discuss requirements for future ADAS products, including tools, software, and hardware. Document proof-of-concept code and benchmark results, providing comprehensive application notes. Assist Renesas' automotive customers with the R-CAR video pipeline, addressing reported issues and delivering proof-of-concept code. Qualifications
