Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Marketing Data Strategist (all genders) to become a vital member of our Business Intelligence and Marketing Analytics (BIMA) team. This role is global in nature, collaborating with our diverse brands across numerous countries while implementing strategies from our headquarters.

BIMA operates within the Global Marketing division, focusing on centralized business intelligence and marketing analytics. Our mission is to enhance marketing initiatives through data-driven solutions and strategic insights, ensuring sustainable growth. We engage in significant projects such as customer segmentation, marketing return on investment (ROI) assessment, and customer lifetime value (CLV) analysis, supporting executive leadership in making informed decisions across all brands.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Marketing Data Strategist will play a crucial role in refining our marketing strategies through insightful data analysis and advanced analytics. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights regarding marketing performance.
  • Designing and executing A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Developing tools, key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks, and reports to assess the ROI of marketing expenditures, continuously monitoring and optimizing spend across various channels.
  • Creating statistical models to forecast customer lifetime value, evaluate customer acquisition costs (CAC), and utilize analytics to enhance LTV while minimizing CAC.
  • Assessing and refining customer segmentation to enhance targeting strategies in local markets and boost customer retention.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and establish global standards for data collection and utilization.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

Qualifications

Your exceptional skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, particularly focusing on user retention within technology-driven consumer-facing organizations.
  • Strong expertise in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).
  • Outstanding analytical abilities with a talent for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and various experimental design methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including CRM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in agile development and methodologies.
  • Educational background: BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, business, or related fields.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency in a global organization, along with experience in market mix modeling.
