Overview
We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of "Logistics Expert and Key User S/4HANA (f/m/d)" within the "Logistics Management" division at our Ulm facility.The Logistics Management division is accountable for overseeing the global logistics planning team, providing direction and leadership to ensure effective execution of logistics planning processes, including negotiations with logistics service providers for HENSOLDT.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a business expert and key user for the transformation and ongoing enhancement of SAP S/4HANA Represent and implement business requirements within the oneSAPnow initiative and facilitate the transition to routine operations Collaborate on the development of concepts and manage task packages related to cutover, data migration, documentation, and role definition Design, implement, and oversee harmonized and standardized logistics processes in alignment with overarching end-to-end processes Focus on technical aspects involving relevant SAP modules (EWM, SD, TM) and supplementary software systems (production supply, warehouse management, outbound logistics) Manage process-related operations of automated warehouses (putaway strategies, picking procedures, SAP interfaces) and develop associated expertise Continuously enhance and refine logistics processes implemented across HENSOLDT locations Analyze, simulate, and evaluate goods flows concerning capacity, throughput times, deadlines, and generate, assess, and implement change requests in collaboration with IT and users Participate in cross-departmental projects, taking on responsibilities and managing tasks independently Generate evaluations and reports to assess logistics performance in collaboration with the logistics team, documenting and analyzing current and future processesCandidate Profile
Degree in economics, logistics, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a related field Strong process knowledge and experience in logistics planning within a manufacturing environment Proficient understanding of SAP modules relevant to logistics (EWM, SD, TM) Excellent skills in MS Office applications Analytical mindset with an independent, structured, and efficient working style Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to work collaboratively in a team Comprehensive proficiency in German and fluent in EnglishAdditional Benefits
