Overview
We are seeking a "Lead Supply Chain Strategy and Demand Manager (m/f/d)" for the "Supply Chain" division at our headquarters.The Supply Chain division of INNOVATIVE TECH SOLUTIONS GmbH oversees all sourcing activities for program and production sectors across various divisions, managing indirect requirements with an annual procurement budget of approximately EUR 900 million. The Lead Supply Chain Strategy and Demand Manager will play a crucial role in formulating a strategic sourcing framework as part of the Business Excellence team, serving as a liaison between the INNOVATIVE divisions and the sourcing departments.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and project requirements based on divisional business strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to pinpoint current and future demands, crafting detailed strategic sourcing plans while actively promoting consolidation, standardization, and harmonization alongside Development and Supply Chain teams. Collaborate with relevant divisional stakeholders to gather and document their needs, translating them into precise requirements for the Supply Chain. Manage the portfolio of products and services pertinent to Supply Chain, prioritizing offerings based on strategic goals and synergy opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Assist the entire demand management team in refining the demand management strategy and implementing significant modifications as necessary.Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Extensive experience as a demand manager in a global context within mechanical and plant engineering sectors. Proficient understanding of contract law, procurement policies, and ethical sourcing practices. Capability to convert development and demand specifications into sourcing categories for effective project delivery. Strong communication, analytical, and planning abilities, with a knack for engaging with senior leadership. Proficient in both German and English.We Offer
