Overview

We are seeking a dedicated "Logistics Specialist and SAP S/4HANA Key User (f/m/d)" to join our "Logistics Management" team at the Ulm location. This role is essential for overseeing global logistics planning and providing strategic direction to ensure effective execution of logistics processes, including negotiations with logistics providers for HENSOLDT.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as a business expert and key user for the transformation and ongoing enhancement of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Translate and implement business requirements within the oneSAPnow initiative, ensuring smooth transition to operational routines.
  • Collaborate on developing concepts and manage task packages related to cutover, data migration, documentation, and role definitions.
  • Design, implement, and oversee standardized logistics processes aligned with comprehensive end-to-end operations.
  • Focus on specific SAP modules (EWM, SD, TM) and additional software systems (production supply, warehouse management, outbound logistics).
  • Manage process-related operations of automated warehouses, including putaway strategies and picking workflows, while fostering knowledge development.
  • Continuously enhance and refine logistics processes at HENSOLDT locations.
  • Analyze, simulate, and assess goods flows concerning capacity, throughput times, and deadlines, while creating and implementing change requests in collaboration with IT and users.
  • Engage in cross-departmental projects, taking ownership of tasks and delivering independently.
  • Generate evaluations and reports to assess logistics performance in coordination with the logistics team, documenting and analyzing current and future processes.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in economics, logistics, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong process knowledge and experience in logistics planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient understanding of SAP modules relevant to logistics (EWM, SD, TM).
  • Excellent skills in MS Office applications.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and efficient approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
