Job Title: Business Analyst

Luxcargo Handling S.A., a leading air cargo handling company, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join its Operations department. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing and optimizing business processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams, key users, and management to understand business needs and concerns, translating them into clear functional requirements.
  • Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement, providing exhaustive context for defined requirements.
  • Develop and maintain specification documents for internal or external development, ensuring approval by relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the implementation of changes by defining and executing functional and non-functional test scenarios.
  • Provide training support by creating training materials and coaching trainers for final user training sessions.
  • Support key users during the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
  • Be actively involved in the change request management process, providing continuous support in analysis of impact and value.
  • Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources, compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, requirements engineering, data engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing operational and system solutions to meet user needs.
  • Record of delivering large-scale projects with business impact.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, and task management tools (JIRA, Monday, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills and the ability to adjust communication to different groups of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of air cargo handling processes.
  • Experience in implementing a "Commercial Off The Shelf" product.
  • Knowledge of any other official languages spoken in Luxembourg is considered an asset.
