About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Sr. Logistics Manager** to join our team at Amazon Logistics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our relationships with third-party delivery service partners (DSPs) and ensuring the smooth operation of our last-mile delivery network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Partner with our Safety and Regional Managers to ensure that our DSPs operate in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Performance Optimization: Guide our DSPs in scaling their businesses and managing operational issues, ensuring they have the necessary resources to effectively ramp up operations and prepare for peak periods.
  • Business Development: Support our DSPs in onboarding to our program and preparing to launch new businesses.
  • Operational Excellence: Coach our DSPs to run compliant, safe, and high-performing companies, with a focus on improving SLS metrics.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our DSPs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to drive business growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the voice of our DSPs within Amazon Logistics, representing their interests and needs, and collaborating with our internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, last-mile delivery, or account/relationship management, with a focus on small business logistics or retail/vendor/supplier management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, with a track record of digging into data to find solutions for operational problems; advanced proficiency in English and German.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work occasional non-standard working hours during peak periods.
