As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering value to our clients through their investments in PTC software. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients and their implementation partners, guiding them in deploying proven, adaptable solutions in both cloud and on-premise settings. Your industry knowledge and best practices will be instrumental in steering clients toward a powerful, interconnected solution that accelerates their time to value.
Your Team
As a Technical Solutions Consultant within the SaaS Delivery Management Office, you will be a vital contributor to the project team. Collaborating closely with our clients' partners, you will assist in the transition of their existing PLM systems to Windchill+. You will navigate the PTC ecosystem to provide essential technical support for designing and configuring solutions that adhere to Windchill+ guidelines, while also leveraging your expertise to facilitate the enablement of PTC's partner ecosystem. Your collaboration will extend to:
- PTC SaaS Business Development Managers, PLM Segment, and R&D during the technical assessment phase to evaluate the feasibility of opportunities and provide technical guidance to support estimation and planning.
- The client/implementation partner Project/Program Manager to define timelines, deliverables, and project cadence.
- Implementation partner architects to design, implement, and validate solutions for deployment in the Windchill+ SaaS environment.
- PTC's R&D and PLM Segment on special initiatives to incorporate client and implementer insights into the ongoing development of our SaaS tools, services, and features.
- Partner consultants and developers to assist with configuration, data migration, and integrations, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Client and partner business representatives to thoroughly understand the necessary solution functionalities to meet their business needs.
- Client IT representatives to ensure compliance with PTC SaaS guidelines and support the build and deployment processes.
- Client and partner executive personnel to ensure alignment of program goals with the client's overarching business objectives.
- PTC executive personnel to monitor program progress and ensure maximum client value delivery.
- PTC and Partner Business Development leads to identify future expansion opportunities and business value.
- PTC Enablement team in creating resources, white papers, best practices, methodologies, and other materials to support the ongoing development of our partner network.
Your Daily Responsibilities
Your workday will be dynamic and filled with opportunities for both learning and leadership. Throughout a typical project, you will become the trusted advisor to the implementation partner, assisting them in deriving value from the technological and process enhancements introduced through the implementation of PTC's Windchill+ solutions. You will have the chance to guide and delegate tasks to a team of exceptional contributors while maintaining ownership and accountability for client success. An essential aspect of your role will involve transforming lessons learned in the field into training materials and resources for the broader PTC and partner communities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, implementing, deploying, or supporting PLM systems or other enterprise applications.
- Willingness to travel overnight (15%).
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience in software development, build, and deployment (JAVA, JSP, XML, Ant).
- Knowledge of Windchill PLM.
**Due to the consultative nature and travel requirements of this role, candidates may have the flexibility to work from a home office.**
