Head of Spanish Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our business in Spain as Country Head. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth, develop strategies, and manage a team to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business strategies to drive top-line growth and operational excellence in Spain.
- Lead marketing and sales efforts to scale our platform in Spain, including campaign planning and partnership establishment.
- Oversee the localization of the Spanish platform in close alignment with key departments (IT, product management, legal, and customer service).
- Manage local PR activities and build relationships with key stakeholders in Spain.
- Research, onboard, and manage new partnerships and channels in Spain, including fintechs, large IFAs, and incumbent banks.
- Support the acquisition and onboarding of new Spanish distribution partners.
- Collaborate with the business development team to acquire new bank partners.
- Lead and manage the Spanish market team.
- Potentially launch further markets, such as Portugal.
- University degree in business, economics, or a comparable field, preferably with a focus on finance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, finance, or the startup industry.
- Knowledge of the Spanish retail market, with a focus on financial services, is highly beneficial.
- Experience in b2b sales or business development functions is advantageous.
- Experience in digital banking or deposit products is highly beneficial.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Winning personality with ability to build long-lasting relationships.
- Native Spanish skills, fluency in English. Portuguese is a plus. Other European languages are a plus.
