The Opportunity

Are you an accomplished sales expert driven by a desire to foster growth and innovation? We are on the lookout for a skilled Regional Account Executive to spearhead our sales and business development initiatives in the EMEA region, particularly focusing on Türkiye. This essential position plays a crucial role in implementing our global business and segment strategies, facilitating success by nurturing a regional value chain poised for growth in volume, revenue, and value addition with key account brands and international retailers. Your objective: Make sustainable textiles available to everyone.

This role requires approximately 50% travel and is based in the EMEA region at an Eastman location.

The position reports to the Commercial Director - EMEA & Americas.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Direction: Position, develop, and enhance NaiaTM presence in Türkiye through both distribution channels and direct sales efforts.
  • Territory Management: Formulate and implement comprehensive Territory Management Plans and account strategies to maximize business expansion.
  • Relationship Building: Foster connections throughout the value chain and within client organizations to generate new business opportunities. Engage with key decision-makers at spinners, mills, and other levels to identify their unmet needs and purchasing processes.
  • Market Insights: Leverage competitive and customer insights to develop a profound understanding of the market and present compelling value propositions.
  • Opportunity Identification: Recognize and pursue opportunities to enhance Eastman NaiaTM market standing, establishing strong trust and credibility with all key stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams to ensure resources are effectively aligned with market opportunities.
  • Consultative Selling: Employ advanced consultative selling techniques to effectively communicate and capture value. Utilize Opportunity Management processes to prioritize, monitor, and drive sales opportunities in line with our business strategy.
  • Market Guidance: Provide precise monthly volume and portfolio insights based on customer and market intelligence.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Textile/Fashion related fields
  • Extensive consultative sales experience (minimum 8 years), preferably in a newly established business sector
  • Proven knowledge of the textile industry is highly valued
  • Strong market and customer strategy development experience with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM and other sales management tools is advantageous
  • High curiosity, robust strategic capabilities with a proactive approach
  • Exceptional communication skills and full professional proficiency in English. Proficiency in Turkish is preferred.
