Do you thrive on challenges? In addition to your role as Backup and Storage Service Manager, you will also assume responsibility for the local Backup and Storage team as the Delivery Team Leader.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Cloud Infrastructure Services Germany and work closely with the Delivery Area Lead - Cloud Infrastructure Services Germany as well as the Global Service Area Managers (GSAMs).
As a Backup and Storage Service Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing operational service delivery in the Backup and Storage service domain
- Collaborating with GSAMs to coordinate and monitor critical initiatives and projects within the Backup and Storage service area
- Planning and tracking resource utilization
- Measuring and controlling internal critical metrics
- Preparing and supporting business process harmonization initiatives and continuous efficiency improvements
As a Delivery Team Leader, you are accountable for:
- Leading the local Backup and Storage team
- Managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Facilitating regular communication, interaction, and team development through appropriate measures
- Creating a sustainable feedback and error culture while promoting cross-team collaboration
- Identifying, nurturing, and developing employee potential and planning necessary training
- Conducting individual performance evaluations and setting development objectives
- Taking responsibility for team performance and successful implementation regarding quality and customer satisfaction
- Participating in shaping the department's strategy and optimizing service processes
- Contributing to the development of new services to enable efficient and effective employee deployment
- Providing regular reports and analyses to monitor SLAs and key performance indicators
- Proactively ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting customer escalations and critical situations
- Managing the area's controlling and ensuring profitability and revenue goals are met in collaboration with the Controlling Circle
Convince us with your potential:
- A completed university degree, preferably in the IT field, or equivalent qualification is essential
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar environment, ideally with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- A proven track record in delivering Managed Services
- Experience in a matrix organization
- Strong leadership qualities, employee orientation, positive mindset, and attitude
- Effective communication skills and conflict management abilities
- Ability to blend entrepreneurial thinking with pragmatism and results orientation
- High level of accountability and confidence to lead by example
- Fluent in both German and English
- Regular presence (3-4 days/week) at the Data Center is required for the location
