Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client, a prominent entity within a German-French defense consortium, stands as a leader in Europe for highly secure wheeled and tracked vehicles. With a global presence, this organization employs over 4,000 professionals dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and support of a diverse product range. We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) for the location Munich.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Guarantee the quality of deliveries and proactively enhance supplier capabilities in the domain of quality planning.
- Oversee technical error resolution and assurance processes.
- Detect discrepancies throughout the supply chain within the CAQ system, conduct root cause analyses, and establish corrective measures.
- Coordinate immediate and corrective actions with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Assess suppliers' 8D reports and categorize suppliers and components based on established quality assessment criteria. Collaborate closely with the Supplier Quality Specialist from the relevant product group.
- Address customer and supplier grievances and independently resolve technical challenges.
- Facilitate feasibility assessments in cross-functional teams and provide training to staff and suppliers as necessary.
- Possess a degree in a technical discipline, a comparable qualification with extensive experience, or significant experience as a technician.
- Completed additional training as a Quality Management Manager and other pertinent certifications.
- Exhibit structured, independent, and proactive work habits, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge in manufacturing technology and quality management tools (e.g., FMEA, Ishikawa, 8D Method, Kaizen) and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with CAQ system Babtec and SAP/R3 is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required, with French language skills being a plus.
