About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team at expertum GmbH. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and developing proactive strategies to improve their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of incoming materials and develop strategies to improve supplier performance
  • Conduct technical failure analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues
  • Evaluate 8D reports from suppliers and assess quality risks based on QM criteria
  • Work closely with the Supplier Quality Specialist from the relevant product group
  • Involved in customer and supplier complaints and ensure the independent clarification of technical issues
  • Moderate feasibility analyses in cross-functional teams and train employees and suppliers as needed
Requirements
  • Completed technical studies or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience or long-term experience as a technician
  • Completed additional training as a QM Manager and other relevant additional qualifications
  • Structured, independent, and proactive working style, as well as excellent communication skills and team ability
  • Very good knowledge of manufacturing technology and QM management tools (e.g. FMEA, Ishikawa, 8D method, Kaizen) and very good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of the CAQ system Babtec and SAP/R3 is an advantage
  • Fluent English skills, French skills are desirable
