Join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH and contribute to exciting projects within the aerospace sector. We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Technical Publications Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project-specific guidelines and protocols for Crew Technical Publications, adhering to S1000D Business Rules.
  • Draft regulations, authoring standards, and operational instructions to ensure consistent and thorough documentation.
  • Design and implement the processes and tools necessary for the production of Crew/Operator Technical Publications.
  • Specify and set up the required tool environment within a Common Working Environment (CWE).
  • Collaborate with a multifunctional team to author descriptions and procedures.
  • Assist in defining the overall governance of Technical Publications in collaboration with industrial partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Technical Publication activities with relevant stakeholders and industrial partners.
  • Support the development of the TechPub IETP Browser system for Crew/Operator manuals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Support Engineering, to ensure the availability of all necessary information.
  • Participate in qualification and certification processes.
  • Provide training to the Technical Publications community on established rules and processes.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality contractual deliveries.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance existing processes and procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in aerospace technical publications or training environments.
  • Strong ability to articulate specifications and requirements clearly.
  • Background in military aviation is preferred, with experience in unmanned systems and flight operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of typical manuals such as AFM, QRH, and MMEL.
  • Familiarity with international aerospace TID standards (ASD S1000D, ATA 2300) is essential.
  • Understanding of European airworthiness regulations (EASA/EMAR 21, 145) is advantageous.
  • Experience in creating and managing structured content using XML.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in German or English is required.
