Key Responsibilities:
- Establish project-specific guidelines and protocols for Crew Technical Publications, adhering to S1000D Business Rules.
- Draft comprehensive regulations, authoring guidelines, and operational instructions to promote consistent documentation practices.
- Design and implement the workflow and tool configuration for the production of Crew/Operator Technical Publications.
- Identify and set up the necessary tool environment within a Common Working Environment (CWE).
- Collaborate with a multifunctional team to author detailed descriptions and procedures.
- Assist in defining the overarching governance for Technical Publications in partnership with industrial stakeholders.
- Coordinate Technical Publication activities with relevant stakeholders and industry partners.
- Support the development of the TechPub IETP Browser system for Crew/Operator manuals.
- Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Support Engineering, to ensure the availability of essential information.
- Participate in qualification and certification processes.
- Provide training to the Technical Publications community on established rules and processes.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven contractual deliveries.
- Continuously assess and enhance existing processes and procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of three years of experience in aerospace technical publications or training environments.
- Strong ability to articulate specifications and requirements clearly.
- Background in military aviation is preferred, with experience in unmanned systems and flight operations.
- In-depth understanding of typical manuals such as AFM, QRH, and MMEL.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international aerospace TID standards (ASD S1000D, ATA 2300).
- Familiarity with European airworthiness regulations (EASA/EMAR 21, 145) is advantageous.
- Experience in writing and managing structured content using XML.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in German or English is essential.
