Technical Publications Specialist UAS

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Publications Specialist to join our team at Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation. As a Technical Publications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) crew/operator manuals.
About the Role:- Develop project-specific rules and procedures for Crew Technical Publications (S1000D Business Rules)
- Prepare regulations, authoring guidelines, and work instructions to ensure comprehensive and homogeneous authoring
- Define and establish the process and tool setup for Crew/Operator Technical Publications data production
- Specify and configure the required tool environment in a common working environment (CWE)
- Author descriptions and procedures in a multifunctional team
- Contribute to define the overall TechPub governance towards industrial partners and nations
- Coordinate TechPub activities with involved stakeholders and industrial partners
- Contribute to develop the TechPub IETP Browser system related to Crew/Operator manuals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Support Engineering, to ensure availability of all necessary information and data
- Contribute to qualification and certification activities
- Train the TechPub community in applying defined rules and processes
- Ensure contractual deliveries in time, cost, and quality
- Continuously check and optimize given processes and procedures
- Completed studies in aerospace, computer science, or a similar qualification
- At least three years of experience working in an aerospace technical publications or training environment
- Ability to clearly formulate specifications and requirements
- Background in (military) aviation, ideally experience in unmanned systems, Aircrew, and flight operations
- Deep knowledge of scope and structure of typical manuals like AFM, QRH, MMEL
- Deep knowledge of international aerospace TID standards (ASD S1000D, ATA 2300)
- Knowledge of European airworthiness regulations (EASA/EMAR 21, 145)
- Experience in writing and exchanging structured content using XML
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office
- Fluent German and English in spoken and written language
- Knowledge of Spanish or French would be a plus
