Your Future Role:As a Technical Publications Specialist for UAS Crew and Operator manuals at our esteemed client, you will play a vital role in the Technical Information and Data (TID) department, contributing significantly to the development and maintenance of essential documentation.

This team is pivotal in shaping the future of TID by implementing innovative concepts and solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop project-specific guidelines and procedures for Crew Technical Publications (S1000D Business Rules)
  • Create regulations, authoring standards, and operational instructions to ensure cohesive and comprehensive documentation
  • Establish and configure the necessary tools and processes for producing Crew/Operator Technical Publications
  • Collaborate with a multifunctional team to author descriptions and procedures
  • Define the overall Technical Publication governance in collaboration with industrial partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate Technical Publication activities with relevant parties
  • Assist in the development of the TechPub IETP Browser system related to Crew/Operator manuals
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Support Engineering, to ensure the availability of critical information
  • Participate in qualification and certification processes
  • Educate the Technical Publication community on the established rules and procedures
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality contractual deliveries
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance existing processes and procedures
Your Profile:
  • Degree in aerospace, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years' experience in aerospace technical publications or training
  • Strong ability to articulate specifications and requirements clearly
  • Background in (military) aviation, with a focus on unmanned systems and operational flight
  • In-depth understanding of typical manuals such as AFM, QRH, MMEL
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international aerospace TID standards (ASD S1000D, ATA 2300)
  • Familiarity with European airworthiness regulations is advantageous
  • Experience in writing and managing structured content using XML
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Fluent in both German and English, with additional knowledge of Spanish or French being a plus
