Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the Saarland region, specializing in marine equipment and components.
Location: Germany – Saarland Area
This position requires proficiency in both German and English. Candidates must possess the necessary work authorization for Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and inspections of marine and offshore installations.
- Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on equipment and component performance.
- Engage in both direct and remote assessments of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform quality checks and initial inspections at manufacturing sites, delivering comprehensive reports to clients.
- Work alongside teams from Austria, Southern and Central Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain awareness of relevant codes and standards, including LR Rules and Regulations and EN/ISO/IEC Standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Dipl. Ing. FH/Univ./TH/UH or equivalent).
- Reside in the Saarland area, with the ability to work remotely and on-site as needed.
- Willingness to travel within the specified regions and occasionally within the EU.
- Welding Engineer (EWE/IWE) certification is a plus.
- NDE/NDT ISO 9712 Level II qualifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with marine installations and components, including propulsion systems, pumps, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of material properties and testing methods is beneficial.
- Desire to expand expertise in electrical inspections for both low and high voltage equipment.
