RINA is seeking a skilled Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer to join its team in Hamburg, Germany.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving electrical and automation systems plans for ships, offshore units, and marine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve electrical and automation systems plans for ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, ensuring compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations.
  • Assist clients during the design and construction phase, providing guidance and support related to electrical and automation systems.
  • Provide support for the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan reviews, ensuring compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare project deliverables, including technical reports, project performance documentation, and engineering drawings.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the financial progress of assigned tasks.
  • Manage simple projects assigned, applying project management concepts and techniques.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in English, fluent in German would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant RINA Rules, statutory regulations, and international standards.
  • Experience with PAX and RO RO PAX will be an advantage.
