RINA is seeking a skilled Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer to join its team in Hamburg, Germany.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Junior Marine Electrical Plan Approval Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving electrical and automation systems plans for ships, offshore units, and marine equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve drawings of electrical and automation systems, including autonomous ship technology and cyber security, on ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations.
- Assist clients during the design and construction phase, providing guidance and support related to electrical and automation systems on ships, including autonomous ship technology and cyber security.
- Provide support for the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare project deliverables, including technical reports, project performance documentations, and engineering drawings.
- Take ownership and responsibility over the financial progress of assigned tasks.
- Manage simple projects assigned, applying project management concepts and techniques.
- Degree in Electrical/Marine Engineer or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in English, fluent in German would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant RINA Rules, statutory regulations, and international standards.
- Experience with PAX and RO RO PAX will be an advantage.
