Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities on a global scale. This role is crucial for defining and monitoring security requirements for our cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a cloud security governance framework and pursue ongoing enhancements to secure cloud service usage.
- Develop and maintain cloud security processes as part of the operational model, addressing governance and risk management.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses of cloud platforms.
- Create tailored concepts to elevate security levels and develop decision templates for risk mitigation.
- Engage with emerging cloud technologies and contribute to their secure implementation.
- Collaborate on the development of DevSecOps concepts and work closely with IT teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty) is advantageous.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in cloud security.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing security requirements for cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
- Experience in conducting security assessments and developing security concepts.
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proficiency in implementing and managing cloud security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and data protection.
- Strong knowledge of common security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex security issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
