About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and creative employee communications expert to help us build and develop communication initiatives for key business priorities in the EMEA region. As a key member of our international communications team, you will be a trusted advisor to executives and internal clients to develop and implement employee communications plans from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute employee communications strategies supporting our EMEA region, including sales, manufacturing operations, and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various roles and levels and manage agency/contractor resources to ensure seamless implementation.
- Create and manage content for a range of People Experience communications channels, including intranet sites, digital signage, newsletters, and more.
- Plan, communicate, and execute internal meetings and events, including all-hands, Q&A sessions, and other employee engagements.
- Manage the production of various written, visual, and multimedia communications, including executive messaging, presentations, organizational announcements, and more.
- Partner with global communications, people brand, and inclusion & diversity teams to share and leverage content, channels, and forums.
- Translate and localize corporate communications messaging, working with colleagues to manage other language translations.
- Create and measure employee communications strategy effectiveness and impact on business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, graphic or multimedia design, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience building and executing internal communications strategies in a complex and multinational corporate environment, with experience managing teams and/or agencies and contractors.
- Experience working in or with an international corporation.
- Deep experience consulting with and influencing executives and senior leaders.
- Outstanding content creation abilities with a strong emphasis on writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills.
- Proven experience in building new communication programs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced and matrixed corporate environments, solid project management skills.
- Comfortable working with an international team and manager located in other time zones.
- Graphic design, photography, and/or video editing skills a plus.
