Chemical Engineering Specialist

We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a Chemical Engineer specializing in Digital Laboratory Systems within our Analytical Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), and other software solutions for laboratory equipment align with the needs of our internal stakeholders, including laboratories and quality assurance teams, while adhering to relevant standards such as DIN ISO 17025.

• Oversee projects aimed at enhancing our LIMS and CDS platforms, preparing essential documentation to ensure compliance and proper system utilization.
• Work collaboratively with various departments to assist LIMS users, define their requirements, and evaluate the feasibility of projects.
• Draft change requests for implementation by the global LIMS team, including monitoring progress and providing updates on outcomes.
• Serve as the system administrator for local computerized laboratory systems and manage the MLCS within the Quality Management department.
• Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to your area of expertise.
• Represent system validity during customer audits and regulatory inspections.

• A degree in natural sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with LIMS, CDS systems, and the validation of computerized laboratory systems.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as DIN ISO 9001, 17025/17034, and knowledge of GAMP 5.
• A reliable, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in both German and English.
