Senior Director, Procurement and Subcontracting

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Procurement and Subcontracting to lead our regional PSM team in Continental Europe and Northern Europe. As a key member of our global community, you will contribute to engineering excellence and drive business growth in high-tech markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy a regional PSM strategy to support business goals and objectives.
  • Lead strategically and operationally all areas of Procurement and Subcontracting for the assigned regions.
  • Ensure the effective establishment of new business, including staffing, project plans, and deployment of systems.
  • Position yourself as a respected service provider and trusted business partner to regional management, the business, and project teams.
  • Effectively manage the regional procurement and subcontracting team, building a positive fast-paced spirit and culture.
  • Implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with corporate PSM direction and company goals.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical subject.
  • Professional experience in senior management positions in the civil engineering sector or similar.
  • Several years of procurement/sourcing experience with increasing international responsibility and experience in a matrixed company environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial purchasing, construction, and professional services subcontracting, and contract law.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
