Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and deploy a regional procurement strategy to support business objectives and ensure quality delivery.
- Lead the procurement and subcontracting function for Continental Europe and Northern Europe and Israel, overseeing a purchasing volume of approximately €1.7 billion and a team of around 80 FTEs.
- Collaborate with the Corporate PSM Leadership Team to develop capabilities and provide regional input for a best-in-class procurement organization.
- Provide strategic support to future and new business activities, creating synergies and integrating new opportunities into existing processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent.
- Senior management experience in the civil engineering sector or similar.
- Several years of procurement/sourcing experience with increasing international responsibility and experience in a matrixed company environment.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial purchasing, construction, and professional services subcontracting, and contract law.
- Strong project management skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
