Job Title: Senior Director, Procurement

Exyte is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Procurement to lead our Procurement and Subcontracting Management (PSM) function in Continental Europe and Northern Europe. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a regional PSM strategy to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the regional PSM strategy to support the achievement of regional business goals and objectives.
  • As part of the Corporate PSM Leadership Team, develop capabilities (people, technology, policy, processes, plans) including the provision of regional and continuous improvement input to provide Exyte with a best-in-class procurement and subcontracting organization.
  • Provide PSM functional support and input at an early stage to future and new business activities. Create synergies and integrate new opportunities into existing procurement and subcontracting processes and structure.
  • Ensure the effective establishment of new business including staffing, project plans, deployment of systems, and long-lead item / early-works delivery.
  • Positioning yourself as a respected service provider and trusted business partner to the regional management, the business, and the regional project teams.
  • Effectively manage the regional procurement and subcontracting team. That includes building a positive fast-paced spirit and culture, developing a world-class team, and delivering a high-level of sustainable results.
  • Implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with corporate PSM direction, company goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant technical subject.
  • Professional experience in senior management positions in the civil engineering sector or similar.
  • Several years of procurement/sourcing experience with increasing international responsibility and experience in a matrixed company environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial purchasing, construction and professional services subcontracting, and contract law.
  • Understands the project delivery processes (i.e., program management, detailed engineering deliverable documents, construction management needs, construction).
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.
  • Ability and willingness to manage Change processes.
  • Strong project management skills.
